McShane Millwork is one of the up and coming carpentry companies in Nashville. Naturally, they need to look the part of a business that's hell bent on historical restoration work.

Our aim is to bring that historic, nostalgic, and classic feel to the logo. Taking head nods from old Americana logos with a sign painter styled custom lettering and an organic swoosh under it that carries the eye through the mark and grounds it. We also wanted to make sure this identity felt "built" and solid where it stands while commanding attention. McShane is of course an irish name so we also leaned into that heritage by incorporating elements from the family crest.
